Until now, the only image generation AI available for generative fill was 'Firefly' developed by Adobe, but now you can also choose between 'Gemini 2.5 Flash Image' and 'FLUX.1 Kontext [pro]'.

The ability to select Gemini 2.5 Flash Image and FLUX.1 Kontext [pro] is currently being tested in the beta version of Photoshop.
To use Photoshop, you need to sign up for Adobe's subscription service. There are various plans available, but if you only want to use Photoshop, the 'Photo Plan,' which includes Photoshop and Lightroom, is cheaper than the Photoshop standalone plan. If you sign up through the Adobe official website, you can use it for 28,480 yen per year.
