I actually tried out various photos with the compact and lightweight mirrorless camera 'OM-5 Mark II' Review, you can shoot smoothly day and night without a tripod & it's priced like a high-end smartphone, so it's a good alternative to a smartphone

The OM-5 Mark II is a mirrorless camera that is reasonably priced for the OM series, but still boasts dust- and splash-proof performance on par with flagship models, as well as 5-axis image stabilization. Its highly durable body and advanced image stabilization capabilities allow you to capture high-quality photos in any outdoor environment, including extreme weather and low-light conditions. Furthermore, the entire system is lightweight, making it ideal for everyday snapshots and mountain climbing, where weight is a concern. We were able to borrow an OM-5 Mark II from OM Digital Solutions, so after

checking out the exterior , we took it outside and took some photos.

This time, I attached the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-45mm F4.0 PRO to the OM-5 Mark II and took various photos in Tokyo. All photos in this article have not been edited except for reducing the size; if you click on a photo, you can see the original at full size. Additionally, the white balance was set to auto and the camera was left to decide.

First, I took a photo of the exterior of Tokyo Big Sight. I took the photo on a bright sunny day, and was able to capture the shadow of the inverted triangular conference building (center of the photo) without any distortion.

When combined with a lens that supports sync image stabilization, the OM-5 Mark II provides 7.5 stops of image stabilization in the center and 6.5 stops in the periphery. The photo below was taken handheld at a slow shutter speed of 1/20 second, but it was bright and blur-free.

This photo was taken on a back alley. It was taken the day before the full moon, so you can see the full moon in the center.

Focal length: 12mm (35mm equivalent: 24mm) F-stop: 4.5 Shutter speed: 1/40 sec ISO sensitivity: 6400

I shot with the OM-5 Mark II all day, and was able to capture high-quality images in a variety of situations, including outdoors, indoors, and at night. The lens and set cost about the same as a high-end smartphone, so skipping a generation of smartphone upgrades and buying the OM-5 Mark II is a viable option.

On Amazon.co.jp, the OM-5 Mark II and M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-45mm F4.0 PRO set is being sold for 171,636 yen including tax.
