The Galaxy Buds3 FE has a similar design to the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, with a matte finish. It features enhanced ANC, background noise reduction, and call quality. While the Galaxy Buds3 starts at 27,500 yen and the Galaxy Buds3 Pro starts at 38,500 yen, the Galaxy Buds3 FE is available at an affordable price of $149.99 (approximately 22,000 yen).
The Galaxy Buds 3 FE offers up to 8.5 hours of continuous playback with ANC off and up to 6 hours with ANC on. With the charging case equipped with a 515mAh battery, you can enjoy up to 30 hours of use with ANC off and up to 24 hours with ANC on.
The most distinctive feature of the earphones is that they support Google's AI 'Gemini,' making them Samsung's first earphones equipped with an AI assistant. According to Samsung, you can summon Gemini by using phrases like 'Hey Google,' check your daily schedule and emails, and use the live translation function.
The live translation feature is available exclusively on Samsung smartphones with the Galaxy AI Interpreter app, allowing you to listen to foreign language lectures and have conversations with people who speak another language.
The difference between the Galaxy Buds 3 FE and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is the speaker configuration: the Buds 3 FE uses a one-way speaker system, while the Buds 3 Pro uses a two-way speaker system. Other differences include the water and dust resistance rating of the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro being IP57, while the Galaxy Buds 3 FE is IP54, and the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro supporting 24-bit Hi-Fi audio, while the Galaxy Buds 3 FE does not.
The Galaxy Buds3 FE will be available from September 5, 2025.
