'Welch's Grain Selected Muscat Sparkling' Tasting Review: The scent of carefully selected muscat is strong and passes through the nose

As a new product of the prestigious grape juice brand 'Welch's', ' Welch's Grain Selection Muscat Sparkling ' was released on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, so I bought it and tried it.

The cap has the Asahi Soft Drinks logo on it. The logo is slightly higher up rather than in the center, which is a bit unusual.

The grape juice used is 15% Muscat of Alexandria, which is grown exclusively in Australia at designated farms.

The content volume is 450ml, so one bottle contains 220.5kcal.

When poured into a glass, it looks like this, with a slightly beige, transparent liquid color. The grape aroma is strong when poured into the glass, but it becomes even stronger when you drink it, and the gorgeous grape aroma dissipates from your throat through your nose. It's also very sweet, so rather than gulping it down, it's a drink you'll want to sip slowly, savoring the flavor and aroma.

'Welch's Grain Selection Muscat Sparkling' is priced at 194 yen including tax and will be available nationwide from Tuesday, August 12, 2025. A set of 12 bottles was sold on Amazon for 3,154 yen (131 yen per bottle).
