Discord has announced that Orbs will be officially launched globally on July 15, 2025.
On PC, you can check your Discord quests by selecting 'Discovery' from the compass icon and then 'Quests.'
When I opened the Discord Quest screen, an introduction to 'Discord Orbs' was displayed. Click 'Earn Orbs'.
There was an official Discord quest, so I clicked on 'Start Video Quest.'
A video ad was played.
When the video finishes playing, the 'Receive Reward' button at the bottom right will become active, so click on it.
Get 150 Orbs. Click 'Check out the shop.'
Then, a list of items that can be exchanged for Orbs was displayed. In addition to badges and effects, you can also exchange 'Nitro Credits' that allow you to use some of the benefits of the 'Nitro' paid plan for a certain period of time. However, at this point, the only thing you can exchange is the 'Orbs Apprentice Badge' with a price of 120 Orbs, so click on this.
Click 'Get 120'.
Click on “Earn with Orbs”.
You can now exchange your badges for Orbs. Click on “View My Badges”.
You'll see that your profile now displays the badge you just earned.
Regarding whether earned orbs will expire, Discord responded, 'Your orbs will remain in your account until you use them. However, as we continue to monitor how users earn and use orbs, we may make adjustments in the future to balance the experience for everyone.'
