What does Yoshinoya's first noodle menu 'Gyudama Stamina Mazesoba' taste like? I actually tried it and reviewed it

Yoshinoya's first noodle menu, ' Beef Ball Stamina Mazesoba, ' was released on Friday, July 4, 2025. The smooth noodles are topped with 'beef and onions stewed in a special sauce,' 'green onions,' 'tenkasu,' and 'egg,' and are finished with a 'garlic mashimashi sauce' to make a satisfying bowl of noodles. I was curious about the quality of the noodles, so I tried eating them to see what they tasted like.

Arrived at Yoshinoya.

There is a banner advertising 'Beef and Ball Stamina Mazesoba.'

I sat down and ordered on the tablet. I could choose between a raw or soft-boiled egg to accompany my 'Gyudama Stamina Mazesoba.' This time I chose a raw egg.

The 'Beef and Egg Stamina Mazesoba' was brought to me within a few minutes of ordering.

The yellow noodles are topped with beef, onion, green onion, and tempura flakes.
There was sauce hidden at the bottom of the dish.

This is 'Extra Garlic Sauce'.

You have to crack the raw eggs yourself.

This is what it looks like when you crack a raw egg into the center.

Mix well before eating.

When you hear 'mazesoba,' you tend to think of a hot noodle dish, but Yoshinoya's 'Gyudama Stamina Mazesoba' was served chilled, not piping hot. However, even though it was chilled, it wasn't ice cold like hiyashimen or somen noodles, and to be honest, it was at a subtle temperature that felt 'lukewarm.' The noodles also had a smooth texture, and the soup was light. This light soup was also far from the image of 'mazesoba,' making it a noodle dish that was hard to understand.

The beef and onions are the same as those used in gyudon, giving it a Yoshinoya-like flavor. The crunchy spring onions are a nice touch.

I'll try adding 'Masi Masi Garlic Sauce' to it.

The 'Ninniku Masimasi Sauce' is a spicy, strong garlic flavor that packs a punch. The impactful flavor overpowers the beef and sauce, transforming the dish into a stamina-boosting dish.

The 'Gyudama Stamina Mazesoba' costs 698 yen (excluding tax), and you can check the stores that sell it on the map below.
