Godiva's rich chocolate can be enjoyed cold with the 'Shirokuma no Zeitaku Chocolate' which is a chocolate dessert perfect for summer that can be purchased at convenience stores.

Godiva's Polar Bear Ice Cream ' Polar Bear Luxury Chocolate ' was released in a limited area on July 1, 2025. 'Polar Bear Luxury Chocolate' is a chocolate-filled ice cream with rich chocolate ice cream, smooth chocolate sauce, and dark chocolate ice cream made with Belgian chocolate, topped with Hokkaido condensed milk and fruit pulp. It is a luxurious item that is typical of Godiva, with an exquisite combination of chocolate and condensed milk. I found it at a convenience store in my neighborhood, so I bought one to see what it tasted like.

'Polar Bear Luxury Chocolate' is available at 7-Eleven in some areas of the Kanto region, Kinki region, and Kyushu region. This time, I found it at a 7-Eleven in Osaka.

I bought three.

A polar bear is holding the Godiva logo.

It is a lacto ice cream, and its ingredients include chocolate, cocoa mass, cocoa powder, strawberries, mandarin oranges in syrup, and sweetened condensed milk.

When I opened the lid, dark chocolate ice cream, strawberries, and mandarin oranges appeared. The white part was condensed milk.

If you look from the side, you can see that it is filled with plenty of chocolate ice.

The dark chocolate ice cream has a rich chocolate flavor that you can tell is 'Godiva chocolate ice cream' with just one bite.

Chocolate ice has a crunchy texture when it is taken out of the freezer. It has a strong chocolate flavor without any wateriness, and the interesting thing about it is that it becomes a little gooey as it melts in your mouth.

Strawberries and mandarins go perfectly with chocolate. Both have a sweet and sour taste, so they leave a refreshing aftertaste. The taste of the white condensed milk is somewhat hidden behind the chocolate, and I felt it was a bit milky.

As time passes, the chocolate ice melts and the texture becomes smoother overall. As the ice melts, the crunchy texture disappears, but the chocolate flavor becomes stronger, so I was able to enjoy the change in flavor from start to finish.

The suggested retail price of 'Polar Bear Luxury Chocolate' is 460 yen (excluding tax) and is sold in limited quantities at 7-Eleven stores in some parts of the Kanto, Kinki, and Kyushu areas.
