The final event of the live entertainment building 'Mixalive TOKYO' in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, will be the 'SHAFT 50th Anniversary Exhibition', a commemorative exhibition for the 50th anniversary of the founding of Shaft, the animation production company that brought us 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica' and 'Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei'. The exhibition will be held in the winter of 2025, and details will be announced on the official website and official X in the future.

On September 1, 2025, anime production company Shaft will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
We were founded as a finishing company that painted animation cels, and have expanded the scope of our work to keep up with the changing times, building a system that handles the entire animation production process.
I believe that each and every staff member in each department has the desire to improve their range of expression and their skills, and as they continue to take on the challenge of creating new footage, the studio has grown and this has led to the recognition of the works.
We hope that this exhibition will allow you to trace our 50-year history, reflect on the feelings you had when watching our works, and experience once again the passion and challenge that our staff put into each work, which leads to the animation that Shaft creates today.
