Along with the major update comes a design update.
'Workout'
'Workout Buddy' uses Apple Intelligence to talk to you and create programs based on your fitness history
A speech synthesis model will play back encouraging words.
Workout Buddy tracks a variety of data to help you reach your goals.
The Workout layout will also be completely revamped.
It suggests playlists and podcasts based on your workout.
'Smart Stock' is a feature that quickly identifies and suggests important items.
Understand user behavior and habits, and predict useful features based on location and on-device data.
For example, when you arrive at the gym in the morning, a workout widget will appear at the top.
The notification function has also been enhanced.
The volume of notifications is adjusted based on surrounding noise.
You can also dismiss notifications with a flick of the wrist gesture.
You can also stop timers and alarms, and close Smart Stacks.
The Messages app, which allows you to exchange messages on your Apple Watch, will enable live translation using Apple Intelligence.
Like Messages in iOS 26 , you can set a background. It also suggests actions based on the context of the message, so you can send your location right away when someone asks you, 'Where are you?'
In addition, watchOS 26 finally introduces the Notes app, allowing you to quickly jot down important things from your Apple Watch.
Improved APIs for developers including Geolocation and Smart Stacks are coming.
