Musk, who left the administration, began criticizing the tax cut policy promoted by the Trump administration. In response, President Trump mentioned Musk at a press conference held on June 5th local time. While watching the press conference, Musk responded in real time to the exchange.

'I'm disappointed in Elon. I've helped him a lot. He knew the inside story of the bill better than anyone sitting here,' Trump said at the press conference. 'He knew the EV mandate was going to be lifted, and that's when the problem arose.' Musk responded, 'That's a lie, I've never been shown this bill, and it was passed in the middle of the night so fast that no one in Congress could read it.'

Musk also responded to President Trump's claim that 'I would have won Pennsylvania without Elon,' saying, 'Without me, Trump would have lost the election.'

After the press conference, Trump described Musk on his social media account, Truth Social, saying, 'I told him to stop the EV mandate and get out, and he went nuts.'

He added, 'Elon can be hostile towards me, but I think he should have done so within the last few months. This is one of the greatest bills ever introduced in Congress. It's a record $1.6 trillion in spending cuts, the biggest tax cut ever.'

Musk, who has grown tired of President Trump, started a survey asking, 'Is it time for a new political party in America that represents 80% of the middle class?'

He also said, 'It's time to drop the big bombshell,' revealing that 'President Trump's name is on Epstein's list .'

Musk also announced that SpaceX would immediately retire its Dragon spacecraft following 'threats of contract termination' from the government.
