'President Trump's official cryptocurrency wallet' appears, but the Trump camp denies it is 'unrelated'
On June 3, 2025, Magic Eden, a company that operates an NFT market, announced a new cryptocurrency wallet service called 'Trump Wallet.' As the name suggests, this is a wallet that can handle President Donald Trump's meme coin '$TRUMP,' and it claims to be 'official for President Trump.' However, the Trump camp has denied any involvement, saying, 'We are not involved at all.'

After the official announcement of the Trump Wallet, President Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., posted, 'The Trump Organization (which runs $TRUMP) has absolutely no involvement in this wallet product. Neither I nor (my brother) Eric Trump have any knowledge of it. World Liberty Financial, with whom we have been working tirelessly, will be launching the official wallet shortly.'

Eric Trump and Barron Trump also denied the allegations. President Trump has not commented on the matter.

The official Trump Wallet website states, 'This is President Trump's official $TRUMP wallet. Magic Eden has partnered with GetTrumpMemes.com to create the world's first and only $TRUMP wallet. We hope you enjoy it!' and asks users to register their email address and join the waitlist. GetTrumpMemes.com is a community site that deals with $TRUMP and is officially endorsed by President Trump.

It is unclear whether an agreement existed between Magic Eden and GetTrumpMemes.com, but was not made known to Donald Trump Jr. and others, whether this was a plan that Magic Eden pursued on its own, or whether there were other reasons.
Magic Eden CEO Jack Lu has not commented since announcing Trump Wallet on X. There is also an official X account for Trump Wallet, but it has been frozen for some reason.

There are other services that claim to be 'official' for President Trump, such as Trump Digital Trading Cards, which is President Trump's official NFT card. Trump Digital Trading Cards is not operated by the Trump family's company, such as the Trump Organization, but is a community business that provides services by obtaining a paid license from an entity related to the Trump Organization. Magic Eden may have also obtained a paid license and begun providing its services.
In addition, the jurisdiction of Trump Digital Trading Cards will be transferred to Magic Eden in March 2024.
