The Xiaomi 15 comes in four colors: Liquid Silver, White, Black, and Green. I borrowed the black one this time. The outer box looks like this.
It is being touted as a device developed in collaboration with Leica.
In addition to the Xiaomi 15 itself, the box contained a special case, a charging adapter, a charging cable, a pin to open the SIM card slot, and an instruction manual.
This is the Xiaomi 15. The display is 'CrystalRes AMOLED' and is 6.36 inches in size.
When the display is turned on, it looks like this. The resolution is 2670 x 1200 pixels, the refresh rate is 1 to 120 Hz, and the maximum brightness is 3200 nits.
The top of the display is equipped with a punch-hole type front camera, which has an effective pixel count of 32 megapixels and supports 4K / 60fps video recording.
The bezel width is approximately 1.5mm.
The back is smooth to the touch and has a large camera unit on the top left.
The camera is equipped with three cameras: a Leica main camera, a Leica 60mm floating telephoto camera, and a Leica ultra-wide-angle camera. The three cameras are collectively called the Leica VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:1.62-2.2/14-60 ASPH.
There are no buttons on the left side.
If you place it with the camera unit side facing down, the protrusion will cause the top side to float.
When I measured it with a ruler, it was about 5mm off.
The right side features volume up/down and power buttons.
On the bottom there is a SIM card slot and a USB Type-C port.
There are no buttons or ports on the top.
The actual weight is 197g. The dimensions are 152.3mm high x 71.2mm wide x 8.08mm thick.

It is designed to cover the camera protrusion, preventing the camera from touching the ground even when placed face down.
The weight with the case attached was 215g.
The price of the Xiaomi 15 at the official online store is 123,000 yen (tax included) for the 256GB storage model and 138,000 yen (tax included) for the 512GB storage model. Also, at the time of writing, both models are available at Amazon.co.jp at the same price as the official online store.
