According to Downdetector , which collects reports of access issues from Internet users, the number of reports of access issues increased sharply from around 10:00 PM on May 25th (Japan time), and the issues subsided within about three hours. Network issues have been reported continuously since around May 22nd, with frequent issues related to logging in and posts not loading.
The issue has been linked to a data center fire that occurred on May 22. On that day, a fire broke out at one of the data centers in Oregon, causing smoke to fill a room containing batteries. No one was injured, and the fire did not spread to other parts of the building.
Since X has not made an official comment, the relevance is unclear, but Elon Musk, who owns X, responded to this news by saying, 'I'm back to work 24/7, sleeping in conference rooms, servers, and factory rooms.
