Google announces 'Google AI Ultra' AI subscription plan for approximately 36,000 yen per month

Google describes Google AI Ultra as 'our most permissive plan, giving you access to Google AI's most powerful models and premium features.'

Gemini
Google AI Ultra has the loosest restrictions on Deep Research, and will enable video generation with Veo 2 and early access to the Veo 3 model. The previous paid version of Google AI will be called 'Google AI Pro'. Google AI Ultra will be available in the United States first, and then in other countries and regions. The monthly subscription fee for Google AI Ultra is $249.99, but the first three months will be discounted by 50% to $124.99 (about 18,000 yen).

It has also been announced that a service offering free one-year access to Google AI Pro to students will be available not only in the United States, but also in Japan, Brazil, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom.
