The FastConnect C7700 is a 2x2 Wi-Fi system manufactured using a 14nm process, compliant with the Bluetooth 6.0 core standard, and optimized for integration into a wide range of products such as PCs, game consoles, and cameras, with flexible interfaces including PCIe, USB, and SDIO (Secure Digital Input Output).
Its main features include an ultra-fast communication speed of 5.8Gbps using a 320MHz wideband channel and 4K QAM ( quadrature amplitude modulation ). In addition, it adopts Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology to achieve both high-speed communication and low latency, providing optimal performance for high-bandwidth applications such as gaming and streaming. Qualcomm appealed that the compatible frequency bands are 6GHz, 5GHz, and 2.4GHz, and 'you can enjoy a premium Wi-Fi 7 experience by pairing with a compatible access point.'

In addition, it makes it easier to discover, access, and operate devices that support Wi-Fi ranging and Bluetooth channel sounding . In addition, architectural improvements have improved power efficiency for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which is a key benefit for battery-powered devices.
Traditionally, Wi-Fi 7 has only been available in higher-end products, but Qualcomm says the FastConnect C7700 will make Wi-Fi 7 more accessible to both manufacturers and consumers.

As the number of connected devices in home networks increases, such as smart TVs, home appliances, and speakers, the demand for high-performance connectivity is growing, and a wide range of devices are expected to be able to handle the high speeds and low latency of Wi-Fi 7.
Qualcomm says the FastConnect C7700 will hit the market as early as 2026.
