Today is the monthly 'Windows Update' day.

The monthly Windows Update, which delivers security updates and bug fixes for Windows, has been released. The Windows Update on May 14, 2025 includes seven updates with a maximum severity of 'Critical' and five updates with a 'Important' severity.

In the May 2025 Windows Update, four existing vulnerability information items have been updated. In addition, no new security advisories have been released, but one existing security advisory has been updated.
Windows Update is released on the second Tuesday of every month in the United States, and the next update is scheduled to be provided on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, Japan time.
