The Google logo has undergone many redesigns over the years. The Google logo was created in 1997 and was used until September 27, 1998.

The logo used from September 28, 1998 to October 29, 1998 is shown below, and is characterized by the use of a font called Baskerville Bold. It is similar to the current one in that it already uses blue, red, yellow, and green, but the G part is green.

The logo from October 30, 1998 to May 30, 1999. It has an exclamation mark at the end. Also, the G was colored blue.

This logo was used from May 31, 1999 to May 5, 2010. It uses the font 'Catull' and the '!' has been removed.

The logo used from May 6, 2010 to September 18, 2013 had a lighter shadow and a slightly different color for the second 'o.'
The logo used from September 19, 2013 to August 31, 2015 completely removed the shadow and adopted a flat design.

The logo used from September 1, 2015 to the present looks like this. The font has been changed to 'Product Sans'. The color arrangement is the same as before.

The G logo icon was also revamped along with the logo change on September 1, 2015. The 'G' in Product Sans font is composed of four colors: red, yellow, green, and blue. It was originally Google's Favicon , and was displayed in the URL field and tabs of web browsers. It was later used as an app icon, and is now as well known as the company logo.

And here is the G logo icon, updated for the first time in 10 years. The shape is almost the same, but the four colors are now a gradient.

At the time of writing, this new G logo icon is already being used in the iOS and Android versions of the Google app.

At the time of writing, it is unclear whether the design of Google's company logo and other service icons will change.
