We tried comparing the new fruity 'HYPER ZONe ENERGY' with the pre-renewal version

Below is the renewed 'HYPER ZONe ENERGY' on the left and the renewed 'HYPER ZONe ENERGY ZERO' on the right.
When comparing the pre-renewal HYPER ZONe ENERGY (left image below) and the renewed HYPER ZONe ENERGY (right image below), you can see that the renewed package prominently displays '150mg of caffeine.' According to ZONe ENERGY, by displaying the caffeine content prominently, the design is intended to make it seem like a 'rational tool that can help you achieve your goals efficiently.'
When I compared the ingredients before and after the renewal, there was no change.
Comparing the nutritional information, before the renewal (left image), the protein was 0.4g, carbohydrates 48.8g, and salt equivalent was 0.84g, while after the renewal, the protein was 0.8g, carbohydrates 48.4g, and salt equivalent was 0.68g. In addition, the amount of arginine has increased significantly from 500mg to 800mg after the renewal, making it more satisfying to drink as an energy drink.
The packaging of HYPER ZONe ENERGY ZERO has also changed so that the caffeine content can be seen at a glance before (left image) and after (right image). The only change to 'HYPER ZONe ENERGY ZERO' is the packaging; there are no changes to the ingredients, nutritional information, or taste.
To check the taste of the renewed HYPER ZONe ENERGY, I poured it into a glass.
In the image below, the left is HYPER ZONe ENERGY before the renewal, and the right is HYPER ZONe ENERGY after the renewal. When poured into the same glass, the renewed one looks slightly darker, but they look almost the same.
When I actually tried them, I found that the renewed HYPER ZONe ENERGY tasted sweeter than the pre-renewal version. It wasn't overly sweet, but rather had a refreshing fruity sweetness that spread throughout the drink, and the increased amount of arginine gave it a more powerful flavor that is unique to energy drinks.
The renewed version of HYPER ZONe ENERGY and the HYPER ZONe ENERGY ZERO with the revised packaging will be available nationwide from Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Both are priced at 203 yen excluding tax. HYPER ZONe ENERGY and HYPER ZONe ENERGY ZERO can also be purchased in units of 24 on Amazon, with HYPER ZONe ENERGY ZERO costing 177 yen (tax included) per bottle and HYPER ZONe ENERGY ZERO costing 171 yen per bottle.
