I went on the Machi★Asobi sightseeing boat 'Under the Bridge Museum' where Tanjiro from 'Demon Slayer: <span translate="no">Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba</span>' and the pillars of the Demon Slayer Corps appeared right in front of me

The '

Machi★Asobi vol.28 ' event is an event to 'have fun in Tokushima', and the 'Under the Bridge Museum', which is a regular feature at the spring event, was held again this year, so I decided to board the boat.

The 'Under the Bridge Museum' is an event that has been held every spring (May) since Machi★Asobi vol.3 in May 2010. A giant tapestry is hung 'under the bridge,' and visitors can view it while passing underneath on a sightseeing boat.

The weather forecast for Tokushima on May 11th was sunny in the morning, but worsening towards the afternoon. We set sail in gloomy, cloudy weather.

Almost like a tutorial, the first painting is hanging on the bridge as soon as you set sail.

As the boat got closer, the image came into view. It was OK to take pictures of the image, and the captain gave some advice: 'Many people find it harder to take good pictures because it's closer than they think, so it's better to use the in-camera or take a video.'

The boat slowed down and we were able to confirm that the first image was of Tanjiro Kamado. Just as the captain said, when we got underneath, the image was so big that we thought, 'Is it really that big?' and it was difficult to get a full shot.

The boat continues on its way, with Shinmachibashi Higashi Park on the left and Shinmachigawa Waterfront Park, a cosplay photo shoot location, on the right.

I'm not sure whether the people on the boat waved first, or the people on both banks or on the bridge, but you can see people waving to each other everywhere.

Aibahama Park comes into view on the right.

The second painting appears around the time you pass Awagin Hall.

I'm Tomioka Giyuu, the Water Pillar.

The painting fades away into the background.

From this point onwards, the stonework on either side of the river is different.

Appearing on the bridge ahead was the Pillar of Rock, Gyomei Himejima.

I feel the pressure.

A train runs over the Yoshino River Bridge on the JR Takatoku Line. Tokushima Prefecture is the only one of the 47 prefectures that does not have electric trains, and all of its railways are steam trains (diesel railcars).

Mitsuai Bridge is a three-way crossing of the river. The left side connects the Shinmachi River to the Yoshino River, and the right side, where the boat is heading, connects to the Suketomi River, which flows north of the Tokushima Castle ruins.

The Insect Pillar, Kocho Shinobu, appeared while looking over Shiroyama. Since the distance from the water surface varies depending on the bridge, if you take a normal photo, the close-up may be as close as this.

Continue along with the cherry blossom trees of Tokushima Central Park on your right.

The Sukeno Bridge is currently being replaced.

Beyond him is the Snake Pillar, Iguro Obanai.

Then the Mist Pillar, Tokito Muichiro, appeared. Muichiro was difficult to photograph, so the captain moved the boat back a little.

Fukushima Bridge has a bridge abutment which is the site of a human sacrifice legend, and boats must carefully pass alongside it.

The Fukushima-Shinbashi bridge is particularly low, and when the water level is high it feels like your head would hit the bridge when going ahead.

From Kencho Pier, the yacht harbor in front of the Tokushima Prefectural Government Office, you can see Mt. Bizan directly in front of you.

In the final sprint, Wind Pillar, Sanemi Shinazugawa, stands under Kachidoki Bridge on National Route 11.

And under the Tomita Bridge was the Love Pillar, Kanroji Mitsuri.

The boat ride took about 25 minutes in total.

By the way, this is what the view ahead looks like for the entire journey.
