Google releases early access version of Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview (I/O edition) AI model with enhanced coding capabilities

Google has released an enhanced version of the Gemini 2.5 Pro on May 6, 2025. This model is an earlier release of the model that was scheduled to be announced at

Google I/O 2025 on May 20, 2025, and is named ' Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview (I/O edition) '.

Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview (I / O edition) has enhanced coding capabilities compared to the conventional Gemini 2.5 Pro, and the code generation capability for interactive web apps has been greatly improved. For example, by inputting the text 'Transform this image into a code-based representation of its natural behavior' along with an image of a plant, you can generate code for a 'plant leaf generation simulator'.
