I tried Australian lamb spare ribs and a heavy meat pie at the Expo, and they also have local cola

I was walking around

This is the Australian pavilion.

Lying down kangaroo statue.

There was a cafe called “CAFE KOKO” next to the pavilion.

There is food lined up.

The menu looks like this. This time I ordered 'Australian Lamb Spare Ribs (1,400 yen including tax)', 'Aussie Meat Pie (800 yen including tax)' and 'Capi Cola (680 yen including tax)'.
The Capi Cola was given promptly after payment.

After a short wait, we received our Australian lamb spare ribs and Aussie meat pie and moved to a nearby seat.

The Australian lamb spare ribs came in a box package.

Here's a closer look: The surface is covered in honey glaze and topped with roasted sesame seeds and green onions.

When viewed from the side, you can see that it is quite thick.

The outside is crispy and the inside is incredibly soft. The sweet and sour sauce brings out the sweetness of the lamb fat. It's so tender that it comes off the bone easily, so I finished it in just a few minutes.

I'll also try the Aussie meat pie.

When I bit into it, a large amount of meat filling appeared. The meat filling was seasoned similarly to beef stew, making it a flavor familiar to Japanese people.

Finally, I tried Capi Cola. Capi is an Australian beverage brand.

Ingredients include lemon, malt extract, cinnamon bark extract, and clove.

When you drink it, you can taste cinnamon and berries. Another interesting point is that the aftertaste is a tingling sensation like pepper or ginger. The aftertaste is quite strong and lasts for a long time, which is clearly different from the usual cola you often see in Japan, so you can fully enjoy the exotic feeling.

By the way, the interior of the Australia Pavilion was designed to resemble nature, with trees growing everywhere.
