When both types of users who answered 'yes' were asked about their impressions of AI, 73% of iPhone users and 87% of Galaxy users answered that it 'is not very valuable' or 'adds little value to the smartphone experience.'

When we asked all respondents 'Why don't you use AI?', iPhone users responded as follows:

In addition, 'Galaxy AI' is said to be 'a feature that will be provided free of charge until the end of 2025,' and may become a paid feature after that. 'Apple Intelligence' is free, but at the time of writing, it has not been introduced in some regions, including Japan. When asked about the cost, 86.5% of iPhone users and 94.5% of Samsung users said that they 'have no intention of paying for the use of AI services.'

SellCell said, 'Many smartphone users seem to be dissatisfied with existing AI features overall. However, surprisingly, 47.6% of iPhone users said that AI is 'very' or 'somewhat' important, and they still believe that AI is an important deciding factor when it comes to purchasing decisions. Furthermore, 16.8% of iPhone AI users said that they would consider switching if the Galaxy's AI features were significantly better. This suggests that AI may have an impact on Apple brand users.'
