I bought 'Koala's March [Zenmai in Umabisu]' and 'Koala's March [Chocolate]'. The [Chocolate] logo is yellow on a green background, while the [Zenmai in Umabisu] logo is yellow on a brown background.
The top design is significantly different, highlighting the difference with the slogan 'The secret to its deliciousness is biscuits!'
The ingredients are as follows. Many of the ingredients are the same, such as sugar, wheat flour, and vegetable oil, but [Zenmu-ko-in Uma-bis] contains whole wheat flour, hazelnut paste, fermented seasoning powder, and cinnamon. The content is also slightly less at 46g than [Chocolate] at 48g.
Nutritional information: One box of 'Whole Grain Flour in Uma Bis' is 46g and has 243kcal, and one box of 'Chocolate' is 48g and has 253kcal, so the calories are slightly lower due to the weight.
The inner bags have the same design, so they are indistinguishable once you take them out of the box.
The inside looks like this. On the left is [Zenmai Flour in Umabisu], and on the right is [Chocolate]. Looking closely, it seems that [Zenmai Flour in Umabisu] is slightly darker in color, but they are so similar that it is impossible to tell them apart after mixing. As for the taste, it is not a strange taste, perhaps because it is a new standard, and since the inside is chocolate, the overall balance of 'crispy dough with sweet chocolate' seems to be the same. I saw that it contains hazelnut paste and cinnamon, so I felt that the pleasant flavor was a little strong, but I felt that it would be difficult to guess which one I ate after mixing them. I also feel that it would have been better if the taste was a little more clearly emphasized.
'Koala's March [whole grain in delicious bis]' was sold for 145 yen excluding tax. On Amazon.co.jp, a set of 10 is sold for 1600 yen including tax.
