Pizza Hut unveils 'PIZZAWRMR,' an external unit that heats pizza with the heat of the PS5



Pizza Hut, a major pizza delivery chain, has released a warmer called ' PIZZAWRMR ' online that can warm pizza by attaching it to Sony's game console, PlayStation 5 (PS5). PIZZAWRMR consists of 3D printing files and instructions, and anyone can download it by registering, and you can get it for free by printing it with a 3D printer and assembling it.

The design of the PIZZAWRMR looks like this, inspired by the red hut that is also the Pizza Hut logo. According to Pizza Hut, 'The PIZZAWRMR is specially designed to be compatible only with 11.7-inch (about 29 cm) x 1.31-inch (about 3.3 cm) back-ventilated consoles.'



The top part is a lid, and when opened, it is possible to put several slices of pizza inside. And the heat of the exhaust of the PS5 is sent directly to the inside of the PIZZAWRMR, so that the heat of the pizza can be maintained.



Since the pizza slices are placed directly inside, there is a possibility that crumbs of pizza dough and grease may get into the PS5. Therefore, Pizza Hut recommends that an aluminum foil tray be placed inside the PIZZAWRMR.



PIZZAWRMR has a free STL file for 3D printing and a PDF file of the assembly instructions, and anyone can download it by registering their email address, name, and country of residence. However, since the size of PIZZAWRMR is quite large, it is necessary to prepare a printer with a bed of at least 40 cm square to actually print it with a 3D printer.



This is not the first time that a fast food company has launched an advertising strategy to appeal to gamers; in 2020, Kentucky Fried Chicken announced the 'KFConsole,' a gaming PC that can warm chicken with exhaust heat.
