The mummy that was determined not to be real is one that was scheduled to be sent from Nazca, Peru to Mexico in October 2023, which is different from the aforementioned mummy. It was seized at the Jorge Chávez International Airport and examined by the Forensic Laboratory, Dr. Flavio Estrada Moreno.

According to Dr. Moreno, who conducted the X-ray examination, the mummy's skull belonged to a camelid mammal such as an alpaca and a yak, which are commonly found in Peru, mainly in Nazca, and the body was the remains of bird bones. In order to create a humanoid mummy, metal plates were inserted and assembled using synthetic adhesive.

Based on these results, Dr. Moreno ruled out the possibility that the mummies did not inherit a pre-Spanish culture, but were extraterrestrial life forms or some new species or hybrid, as originally assumed. In the first place, I concluded that it was not a real mummy, but a fake.

This time, the Institute of Forensic Medicine also investigated the three-toed mummy allegedly found in Nazca, which was provided to the Ministry of Culture by Germán Ronceros in 2019, and was made using a combination of human bone, cotton, and glue. I found out that it was something that had been stolen.

Evelyn Centurion, director of the Department of Restoration at the Ministry of Culture, said: ``The Ministry of Culture, through the Department of Restoration, which protects cultural heritage, is alert to any attempts to illegally export items presumed to be national cultural heritage. To this end, we are strengthening the management system to protect the country's cultural heritage,' he said, emphasizing that we will prevent illegal trade in cultural properties.
