'Shinjuku Station Indoor' is a site where you can visualize and check that 'Shinjuku Dungeon' in 3D.

Shinjuku Station in Tokyo is often referred to as a ' dungeon ' due to its complex structure with multiple lines passing through it. Regarding Shinjuku Station, the Ministry of Justice's G-Spatial Information Center has released open indoor map data. Therefore, engineer Satoshi Komatsu used this data to publish a 3D reproduction of Shinjuku Station's station map on Three.js .

This is 'Shinjuku Station Indoor' created by Mr. Komatsu. The 3D data was created using the `` Shinjuku Station Area Indoor Map Open Data (Updated in 2020)'' published by the G-Spatial Information Center.

3D data can be moved vertically and horizontally by dragging it with the mouse.

You can also zoom in and out by scrolling the mouse wheel.

If you drag while holding down the 'Ctrl' key, you can move it three-dimensionally.

In addition, there is a checkbox at the top right of the screen to switch between displaying and hiding each floor.

Remove the check from the checkbox to turn off the display of the first basement floor.

Below is an image comparing the 1st basement floor showing (left) and not showing (right). By moving the slider left and right, you can confirm that the white part of the basement 1st floor has disappeared.

By switching the floor display as necessary, you can check only the information on the desired floor.

The blue and yellow arrows represent pedestrian movement.

Blue arrows indicate that people can travel in both directions, such as hallways, stairs, and elevators.

In addition, yellow arrows indicate moving walkways, escalators, etc. that can be moved in one direction from the starting point to the ending point.
