The 'Uma-chill Plate' is a great gadget that can keep food and drinks cool for a long time, making summer more comfortable.

By using Panasonic's ' Uma Chill Plate ,' you can keep food cold for a long time by chilling the plate in the freezer beforehand. It seemed incredibly convenient, so I tried using it to check its cooling performance.

The surface of the Uma Chie Plate is fitted with a large stainless steel plate. Inside is a cooling material that keeps the food cold for a long time when cooled in the freezer.

To test the cooling performance of the Uma Chill Plate, we prepared cola and poured it into a glass of the same shape.
The temperature immediately after pouring into the glass is 11.1 degrees.
One cup was placed on a cooling plate and the other was placed directly on a desk, and the temperature was measured every 15 minutes. The room temperature was 28 degrees.
The graph below shows the results. The glass (red) placed on the Uma Chill Plate maintained a temperature 2-3 degrees lower than the glass without it.
After 90 minutes, the temperature of the stainless steel plate was 20.0°C.
The delicious cooling plate keeps food cold for a long time, so you can extend the shelf life of foods that taste best when cold, such as somen noodles.
It can also keep sashimi cold, so it's great for sipping on it while drinking alcohol.
In addition, when using the Uma Chie Plate for a long time, the moisture in the air condenses and the top of the stainless steel plate becomes flooded. When using the Uma Chie Plate, it is recommended to prepare a cloth so that you can wipe off the condensation.
